It's been a great year.
Kenneth and I have relied on our 1970 Jaguar now for probably nine years. The general feeling is we've been very happy with the car. Our cottage is in lower Nebraska, near Fairfield, and we love driving in the car during the spring months. Our opinion is I'd say it's a stunning ride for the money.
During the time we've owned the Jaguar we've been driving up a storm. We took it out for a spin to see my wife's relatives in Ohio many times with no problems whatsoever. The Jaguar does poorly on gas and has not given us alot problems in terms of service.
The Jaguar is in driving condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past 22 years. Our previous car, a Dongfeng, had plenty of problems and we weren't unhappy to unload it.
It was very important to get insurance on the vehicle. For our classic car insurance canada we went with a company called Sneed Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on classic cars. It's an authority site for finding the best price on specialty car insurance. We insured the Jaguar for a sliver of what Nationwide wanted.
I don't regret for a minute buying our Jaguar. While 1970 was not freshest in my memory, our car helps us relive those bygone days.
