1971 Was a Good Year For Corvette : Or Reliving Your Youth My Collector Car

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

The classic car of your dreams is out there Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of cheap Corvettes out there. Buy a Corvette now before the price goes up! You won't be sorry.

We've had fun this year.
Larry and I have relied on our 1971 Corvette now for I think ten years. The general feeling is we've been happy with the car. The condo is in rural Oklahoma, near Wilson - (A), and we enjoy touring in the car during the spring months. Our opinion is I'd say it's a great toy for the money.

Ever since we bought the Corvette we've been all over the country. We drove to visit our mother in Oregon numerous times with no problems whatsoever. The Corvette does well on gas and has not given us many issues in terms of repair.

The Corvette is in tip top shape, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken it upon themselves to fix it up over the past twenty years. Our previous car, a GMC, had plenty of heartaches and we weren't depressed to see it go.

It was stressed to me to get classic car insurance on the vehicle. For our hagarty antique car insurance we went with a company called American Hobbyist Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on muscle car insurance. It's a great web site for finding the best offer on car insurance. We insured the Corvette for a quarter of what State Farm wanted.

I don't regret for a minute buying our Corvette. While 1971 was a long time ago, our car helps us enjoy those feelings.

Jerry and I have owned our 1971 Nova now for nearly three years. The general feeling is we've been happy with the car. We live in southern Iowa, near Geneva, and we love driving in the car during the fall months. Our opinion is I'd say it's an awesome vehicle for the money.

Almost from the minute we received the Nova we've been enjoying it heartily. We drove to visit my husband's college roommate in Ohio several times with no problems whatsoever. The Nova does well on gas and has not given us many problems in terms of maintenance.

The Nova is in rare form, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past 20 years. Our previous car, a Infiniti, had plenty of headaches and we weren't unhappy to sell it off.

It was made clear to me to get classic car insurance on the vehicle. For our classic car insurance safeco we went with a company called Haggerty. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on antique car insurance. It was a good investment purchasing our Nova. While 1971 was a completely different age for cars, our car helps us enjoy those feelings.
