True Story: My 1951 Chevrolet in a Show ‘n Shine and Met A Famous Person

Friday, October 31st, 2008

I took the weekend off and entered a club-sponsored antique car show here in Black Rock, Arkansas. It was put together by the local Sheriff by the name of David Kadam. The Sheriff is a car fanatic from way back, having a small part in the film "A través de San Sebastián". A love of cars was grown slowly.

I entered my 1951 Chevrolet in the car show with the hope of impressing my friends :). I spent 2 days getting the Chevrolet. I had done my vin search on the Chevrolet by going over to VIN search site for a check at the accuracy of the car. Because of the detailed data there I found that my Chevrolet was one of a kind!

I ended up taking home a first place trophy! | was in total shock that my little old Chevrolet drew so much attention. Next year I might go for a national championship.

1966 Was a Good Year For Buick : Or Enjoying History in My Classic Car

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

Now is the time to find a car you enjoy! Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of good priced Buicks out there. Buy a Buick now before the price goes up! You won't be sorry.

I can't believe we have to put our baby away for the winter.
Christopher and I have owned our 1966 Buick now for probably four years. I'm glad to report we've been thrilled with the car. The condo is in eastern Kentucky, near Strathmoor Village, and we enjoy driving in the car during the warmer months. My opinion is I'd say it's an awesome car for the money.

Ever since we bought the Buick we've been enjoying it heartily. We drove to visit our mother in West Virginia several times without any issues. The Buick does fair on gas and has not given us a lot issues in terms of service.

The Buick is in great shape, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken it upon themselves to fix it up over the past 20 years. Our previous car, a Hino, had plenty of problems and we weren't depressed to unload it.

We made sure we went to insure the vehicle. For our antique car insurance we went with a company called DeMarey Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on muscle car insurance. It's an authority site for finding the best price on insurance for antique cars. We insured the Buick for half of what Geico wanted.

It was a good investment purchasing our Buick. While 1966 was just a blur to me, our car helps us enjoy those feelings.

I entered my 1956 Oldsmobile in the cruise with the dream of taking home a prize. I spent countless hours getting the Oldsmobile. I had done my car history search on the Oldsmobile by going over to vin number checker for a check at the accuracy of the car. Because of the detailed data there I found that my Oldsmobile was exceedingly rare!

I entered my car and took first place! | was completely amazed still in shock that my little old Oldsmobile had done so well the first time out. Next year I'll start preparing earlier.
