1967 Was a Good Year For Bel Air : Or Cruising Again in My Custom Car

Friday, September 26th, 2008

The classic car of your dreams is out there Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of cheap Bel Airs out there. Buy a Bel Air now before the price goes up! You won't be sorry.

I've had too much fun to mention :).
Cora and I have lived with our 1967 Bel Air now for probably 8 years. Truth be told we've been living well with the car. The house is in northern South Dakota, near Arlington, and we enjoy touring in the car during the spring months. Our opinion is I'd say it's an awesome vehicle for the money.

Ever since we bought the Bel Air we've been enjoying it heartily. We took it out for a spin to see my aunt in New Mexico many times over the year. The Bel Air does Ok on gas and has not given us alot problems in terms of service.

The Bel Air is in tip top shape, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken excellent care of the car over the past 19 years. Our previous car, a Aston Martin, had plenty of heartaches and we weren't sad to scrap it.

It was very important to insure the vehicle. For our muscle car car insurance we went with a company called Classic Collectors Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on muscle car insurance. It's a cool place for finding the best deal on specialty car insurance. We insured the Bel Air for half of what Nationwide wanted.

I don't regret for a minute buying our Bel Air. While 1967 was a completely different age for cars, our car helps us redo those days.

My wife and I Entered the 1969 Mercury in a Local Show and Was Swamped with Questions

Thursday, September 25th, 2008

My friend and I entered a small vintage car show here in Del Rey Oaks, California. It was put together by the local Mayor by the name of Lucie Quintona. The Mayor is a motorhead from way back, having a small part in the film "Qing dou chu kai". A love of cars was fostered over time.

I entered my 1969 Mercury in the show 'n shine with the hope of getting a trophy. I spent quite a bit of time getting the Mercury. I had done my research on the Mercury by going over to decode this for a check at the accuracy of the car. Based on the excellent information I found that my Mercury was exceedingly rare!

My car won Best of Show! | was completely shocked that my little old Mercury was so well received. Next year I might go for a national championship.

1967 Was a Good Year For Jaguar : Or Enjoying History in My Custom Car

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

Go out and find that special classic car Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of quality Jaguars out there. Buy a Jaguar now before the price goes up! You won't be sorry.

I can't believe we have to put our baby away for the winter.
Mary and I have had our 1967 Jaguar now for probably 6 years. For that length of time we've been very happy with the car. Our condo is in urban Michigan, near Olivet, and we love touring in the car during the summer months. My opinion is I'd say it's a stunning car for the money.

During the time we've owned the Jaguar we've been on the road. My whole family made a weekend out of visiting our mother in Georgia several times over the year. The Jaguar does well on gas and has not given us a lot problems in terms of repair.

The Jaguar is in pristine condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past twenty-one years. Our previous car, a Lamborghini, had plenty of problems and we weren't depressed to sell it off.

It was important to insure the vehicle. For our no mileage limit classic car insurance we went with a company called Classic Collectors Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on antique cars. It's a cool place for finding the lowest cost on car insurance. We insured the Jaguar for 50% of what American Family Insurance wanted.

I don't regret for a minute buying our Jaguar. While 1967 was ages ago, our car helps us relive those feelings.
