It's been a great year.
Kimberly and I have lived with our 1970 Super Bee now for I think five years. For that length of time we've been living well with the car. The apartment where we live is in eastern Missouri, near New Haven, and we love touring in the car during the summer months. My opinion is I'd say it's a great car for the money.
During the time we've owned the Super Bee we've been on the road. We took it out for a spin to see my wife's aunt in Virginia numerous times over the year. The Super Bee does fair on gas and has not given us alot issues in terms of maintenance.
The Super Bee is in rare form, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past several years. Our previous car, a Jaguar, had plenty of breakdowns and we weren't depressed to get rid of it.
It was stressed to me to insure the vehicle. For our no mileage limit classic car insurance we went with a company called Leland-West. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on classic car insurance. It's an authority site for finding the best price on insurance for antique cars. We insured the Super Bee for a quarter of what Nationwide wanted.
It was a good investment purchasing our Super Bee. While 1970 was ages ago, our car helps us redo those days.
