My wife and I Entered the 1963 Lincoln in a Regional Competition and Was Swamped with Questions

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

My wife and I entered a regional show and shine here in Fort Gordon, Georgia. It was put together by the local Mayor by the name of Jim Cowan. The Mayor is a car fanatic from way back, having a small part in the film "Table for Five". A love of cars was developed over time.

I entered my 1963 Lincoln in the show 'n shine with the intention of impressing my friends :). I spent four hours getting the Lincoln. I had done my vin search on the Lincoln by going over to classic car VIN site for a check at the accuracy of the car. Because of the detailed data there I found that my Lincoln was a collector car!

I entered my car and took first place! | was in total shock that my little old Lincoln was so well received. Next year I'll start preparing earlier.

1967 Was a Good Year For BMW : Or Reliving Your Youth My Vintage Auto

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

Go out and find that special classic car Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of cheap BMWs out there. Buy a BMW now before the price goes up! You won't regret it.

I've had too much fun to mention :).
Barbara and I have depended on our 1967 BMW now for nearly 11 years. In that time we've been thrilled with the car. Our cottage is in urban Texas, near Magnolia, and we love driving in the car during the summer months. Overall I'd say it's a great vehicle for the money.

From the day we picked up the BMW we've been driving up a storm. We took it out for a spin to see my aunt in Georgia several times without any issues. The BMW does well on gas and has not given us alot problems in terms of repair.

The BMW is in great shape, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken excellent care of the car over the past 23 years. Our previous car, a Holden, had plenty of breakdowns and we weren't sad to get rid of it.

It was stressed to me to insure the vehicle. For our hagerty classic car insurance we went with a company called Haggerty. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on car insurance. It's an authority site for finding the lowest cost on antique car insurance. We insured the BMW for a sliver of what Geico wanted.

We've very happy with our BMW. While 1967 was just a blur to me, our car helps us redo those bygone days.

My wife and I Entered the 19 65 Ford in a Car Show and Had a Good Time

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

My wife and I entered a regional show-n-shine here in Munger, Michigan. It was put together by the local Councilperson by the name of Chris Cockerham. The Councilperson is a car fanatic from way back, having a small part in the film "U.S. Air Marshals". A love of cars was developed over the years.

I entered my 19 65 Ford in the car show with the desire of having a good time. I spent 2 days getting the Ford. I had done my car history search on the Ford by going over to vin number checker for a check at the accuracy of the car. Because of the detailed data there I found that my Ford was exceedingly rare!

I ended up taking home a first place trophy! | was completely amazed still in shock that my little old Ford had so many people hanging around it. Next year will be even bigger.
