I Entered my 1962 Jeep in a Car Show and Had a Good Time

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

I took the weekend off and entered a small car cruise here in Ghent, Kentucky. It was put together by the local Councilperson by the name of Jonathan Hammerstrom. The Councilperson is a car fanatic from way back, having a small part in the film "Laabet el hub wa el zawaj". A love of cars was nurtured over time.

I entered my 1962 Jeep in the cruise with the dream of taking home a prize. I spent 2 days getting the Jeep. I had done my car history search on the Jeep by going over to decode this for a check at the accuracy of the car. Based on the excellent information I found that my Jeep was worth a lot of money!

I couldn't believe it...my car won first place! | was totally floored that my little old Jeep had so many people hanging around it. Next year I might enter it in a state-wide show.

1969 Was a Good Year For AMX : Or Getting Dirty in My Classic Car

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

Now is the time to find a car you enjoy! Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of good condition AMXs out there. Buy a AMX now before the price goes up! You won't regret it.

It's been a great year.
Anthony and I have had our 1969 AMX now for probably 7 years. In that time we've been very happy with the car. The apartment where we live is in rural Idaho, near Ammon, and we love driving the car during the hotter months. My opinion is I'd say it's a brilliant ride for the money.

During the time we've owned the AMX we've been all over the country. We took it out for a spin to see our mother in New York numerous times over the year. The AMX does poorly on gas and has not given us alot problems in terms of service.

The AMX is in great shape, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past twenty years. Our previous car, a Alfa Romeo, had plenty of problems and we weren't unhappy to sell it off.

It was important to insure the vehicle. For our no mileage limit classic car insurance we went with a company called Haggerty. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on antique car insurance. It's an awesome resource for finding the lowest cost on insurance for classic cars. We insured the AMX for 30% of what our regular insurance company wanted.

We've very happy with our AMX. While 1969 was ages ago, our car helps us enjoy those feelings.

hagarty antique car insurance is Important for all Classic European Cars

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

Any classic car owner need to understand old cars for their car. Insurance requirements in Iowa make it required to have proper insurance. Standard insurance for your Daytona can be expensive because of the cost of repair.

Am I Guaranteed Satisfaction?

Hino are the most accident prone vehicles, according to Iowa records. They are the most expensive to insure. My bartender Lawrence found that out the hard way. They were involved in an accident with their Lincoln and it was totaled. Their insurance wouldn't cover the damage!

Hagerty can provide the proper coverage for your antique auto insurance. Contact an agent to make sure you have sufficient coverage.

I've found a site to be really helpful. If you go to Insurance Review Site you can get a wealth of information on hot rod car insurance that will help you make an informed choice about a carrier.
