1973 Was a Good Year For VW : Or Reliving Your Youth My Classic Car

Sunday, September 28th, 2008

Now is the time to find a car you enjoy! Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of cheap VWs out there. Buy a VW now before the price goes up! You won't regret it.

We're already looking forward to next year.
Earl and I have owned our 1973 VW now for probably seven years. I'm glad to report we've been content with the car. The house is in urban Alabama, near Sardis City, and we love touring in the car during the spring months. My opinion is I'd say it's an awesome toy for the money.

Ever since we bought the VW we've been behind the wheel. We drove to visit my husband's college roommate in California several times with no problems whatsoever. The VW does Ok on gas and has not given us alot problems in terms of service.

The VW is in excellent condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken it upon themselves to fix it up over the past twenty-one years. Our previous car, a Lexus, had plenty of issues and we weren't sad to see it go.

The first order of the day was to get insurance on the vehicle. For our classic car insurance for young drivers in usa we went with a company called Hagerty Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on antique car insurance. It's an authority site for finding the best offer on custom car insurance. We insured the VW for a sliver of what Geico wanted.

It was a good investment purchasing our VW. While 1973 was ages ago, our car helps us relive those bygone days.

True Story: My 1955 Ford in a Cruise-in and Saw My Future

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

My wife and I entered a regional vintage car show here in Little Elm, Texas. It was organized by the local Mayor by the name of Jim Munoz. The Mayor is a film freak from way back, having a small part in the film "Xian si jue". A love of cars was nurtured slowly.

I entered my 1955 Ford in the show 'n shine with the dream of winning first place. I spent two days getting the Ford. I had done my car history search on the Ford by going over to VIN search site for a check at the accuracy of the car. Because of the detailed data there I found that my Ford was worth a lot of money!

I entered my car and took first place! | was completely shocked that my little old Ford had been named a star of the show. Next year will be even bigger.

1969 Was a Good Year For Audi : Or Enjoying History in My Collector Car

Friday, September 26th, 2008

The classic car of your dreams is out there Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of good condition Audis out there. Buy a Audi now before the price goes up! You won't be sorry.

I'm sad we're putting our baby away.
Ruth and I have counted on our 1969 Audi now for I think 8 years. Truth be told we've been very happy with the car. Our condo is in lower California, near McFarland, and we enjoy driving the car during the fall months. Our opinion is I'd say it's an excellent ride for the money.

Almost from the minute we received the Audi we've been driving up a storm. My whole family made a weekend out of visiting our mother in California numerous times with no problems whatsoever. The Audi does Ok on gas and has not given us a lot issues in terms of maintenance.

The Audi is in rare form, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past 20 years. Our previous car, a Audi, had plenty of heartaches and we weren't sad to sell it off.

It was stressed to me to insure the vehicle. For our antique classic car insurance we went with a company called American Hobbyist Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on classic cars. It's an awesome resource for finding the best deal on collector car insurance. We insured the Audi for 30% of what our regular insurance company wanted.

We've very happy with our Audi. While 1969 was just a blur to me, our car helps us recapture those bygone days.
