1965 Was a Good Year For Shelby : Or How to Enjoy My Antique Car

Friday, August 29th, 2008

Go out and find that special classic car Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of excellent Shelbys out there. Buy a Shelby now before the price goes up! You won't regret it.

We're already looking forward to next year.
Leonora and I have relied on our 1965 Shelby now for just about nine years. Truth be told we've been living well with the car. Our condo is in lower Illinois, near Watseka, and we love touring in the car during the summer months. My opinion is I'd say it's an awesome toy for the money.

Ever since we bought the Shelby we've been behind the wheel. We drove to visit our relatives in New Hampshire many times over the year. The Shelby does great on gas and has not given us alot issues in terms of maintenance.

The Shelby is in pristine condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past 22 years. Our previous car, a Lexus, had plenty of issues and we weren't sad to scrap it.

It was important to insure the vehicle. For our classic car insurance for young drivers in usa we went with a company called Sneed Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on antique cars. It's an authority site for finding the best deal on classic car insurance. We insured the Shelby for half of what State Farm wanted.

I don't regret for a minute buying our Shelby. While 1965 was ages ago, our car helps us enjoy those feelings.

My wife and I Entered the 1964 Lincoln in a Local Show and Took First Place

Friday, August 29th, 2008

My wife and I entered a club run car cruise here in Houston Acres, Kentucky. It was organized by the local Councilperson by the name of Bob Berkowitz. The Councilperson is a film freak from way back, having a small part in the film "Zaak Sacco en Vanzetti, De (TV)". A love of cars was fostered slowly.

I entered my 1964 Lincoln in the car show with the hope of getting a trophy. I spent countless hours getting the Lincoln. I had done my car history search on the Lincoln by going over to classic car VIN site for a check at the accuracy of the car. Because of the detailed data there I found that my Lincoln was worth a lot of money!

I entered my car and took first place! | was completely amazed still in shock that my little old Lincoln was the star of the show. Next year I'll start preparing earlier.
