I can't believe we have to put our baby away for the winter.
Brenda and I have had our 1965 VW now for almost 6 years. I'm glad to report we've been content with the car. The house is in northern Missouri, near Springfield, and we love touring in the car during the spring months. Overall I'd say it's an awesome car for the money.

Almost from the minute we received the VW we've been behind the wheel. My whole family made a weekend out of visiting my husband's college roommate in New Hampshire many times with no problems whatsoever. The VW does Ok on gas and has not given us a lot problems in terms of maintenance.

The VW is in fine condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken it upon themselves to fix it up over the past 22 years. Our previous car, a Ford, had plenty of issues and we weren't depressed to get rid of it.

It's an authority site for finding the best offer on insurance for classic cars. We insured the VW for 50% of what our regular insurance company wanted.

We've very happy with our VW. While 1965 was ages ago, our car helps us recapture those bygone days.
