My wife and I Entered the 1960 Mercury in a Local Show and Freaking Won

Friday, August 15th, 2008

I entered a club run vintage car show here in Radcliff, Kentucky. It was organized by the local Mayor by the name of Ashvin Chung. The Mayor is a motorhead from way back, having a small part in the film "Na you yi tian bu xiang ni". A love of cars was nurtured over time.

I entered my 1960 Mercury in the car show with the hope of winning first place. I spent 2 days getting the Mercury. I had done my vin search on the Mercury by going over to collector car VIN site for a check at the accuracy of the car. Based on the excellent information I found that my Mercury was exceedingly rare!

I couldn't believe it...my car won first place! | was completely amazed still in shock that my little old Mercury drew so much attention. Next year I might enter it in a state-wide show.

1967 Was a Good Year For vintage car : Or Reliving Your Youth My Antique Car

Go out and find that special classic car Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of cheap vintage cars out there. Buy a vintage car now before the price goes up! You won't regret it.

Winter is soon upon us.
Fred and I have depended on our 1967 vintage car now for nearly four years. I'm glad to report we've been content with the car. The apartment where we live is in western Texas, near Clute, and we love touring in the car during the warmer months. Our opinion is I'd say it's a brilliant vehicle for the money.

From the day we picked up the vintage car we've been driving up a storm. We took it out for a spin to see my sister in California many times over the year. The vintage car does great on gas and has not given us many problems in terms of service.

The vintage car is in driving condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken excellent care of the car over the past 19 years. Our previous car, a Smart, had plenty of issues and we weren't unhappy to scrap it.

It was very important to get classic car insurance on the vehicle. For our classic car insurance quotes we went with a company called Classic Collectors Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on antique car insurance. It's an awesome resource for finding the lowest cost on car insurance. We insured the vintage car for a quarter of what State Farm wanted.

We've very happy with our vintage car. While 1967 was ages ago, our car helps us redo those days.
