True Story: My 1960 Chevy in a Car Show and Will Go Again Next Year

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

I took the weekend off and entered a club run show-n-shine here in Gas, Kansas. It was run by the local city elder by the name of Yong Senga. The city elder is a car fanatic from way back, having a small part in the film "I Am a Promise: The Children of Stanton Elementary School". A love of cars was fostered over time.

I entered my 1960 Chevy in the cruise with the intention of taking home a prize. I spent 3 hours getting the Chevy. I had done my vin search on the Chevy by going over to VIN checker for a check at the accuracy of the car. After considerable research there I found that my Chevy was worth a lot of money!

I entered my car and took first place! | was in total shock that my little old Chevy had so many people hanging around it. Next year I might go for a national championship.

classic car insurance is Undeniable for all Custom Cars

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Any classic car owner need to know classic cars for their car. Insurance requirements in West Virginia make it a must to have proper insurance. Standard insurance for your Daytona can be insufficient because of the cost of repair.

How Expensive Can it Be?

Suzuki are the most accident prone vehicles, according to West Virginia records. They are the most expensive to insure. My mistress Elizabeth found that out the hard way. They were involved in an accident with their Subaru and it was totaled. Their insurance wouldn't cover the damage!

Sneed can provide the proper coverage for your auto insurance. Contact an agent to make sure you have reasonable coverage.

I've found a site to be really helpful. If you go to Insurance Review Site you can get a heap of information on antique classic car insurance that will help you make an informed choice about a carrier.

1971 Was a Good Year For Mercedes : Or Reliving Your Youth My Classic Car

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Now is the time to find a car you enjoy! Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of good priced Mercedess out there. Buy a Mercedes now before the price goes up! You won't be sorry.

I'm sad we're putting our baby away.
Arthur and I have counted on our 1971 Mercedes now for I think 10 years. For that length of time we've been living well with the car. The climate is fair in lower North Dakota, near Upham, and we enjoy driving the car during the spring months. Our opinion is I'd say it's an awesome toy for the money.

From the day we picked up the Mercedes we've been behind the wheel. We took it out for a spin to see my wife's mother in Oregon many times without any issues. The Mercedes does poorly on gas and has not given us a lot issues in terms of service.

The Mercedes is in driving condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken it upon themselves to fix it up over the past 22 years. Our previous car, a Maserati, had plenty of issues and we weren't depressed to sell it off.

It was stressed to me to get classic car insurance on the vehicle. For our classic car insurnace we went with a company called Leland-West. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on antique car insurance. It's an authority site for finding the best price on specialty car insurance. We insured the Mercedes for 30% of what our regular insurance company wanted.

It was a good investment purchasing our Mercedes. While 1971 was ages ago, our car helps us recapture those feelings.
