I Entered my 1955 Mercury in a Regional Competition and Had a Good Time

Friday, August 8th, 2008

I entered a local classic car show here in Camanche, Iowa. It was run by the local Fire Marshal by the name of Goran Hogan. The Fire Marshal is a movie fan from way back, having a small part in the film "Yan zi dao". A love of cars was fostered over the years.

I entered my 1955 Mercury in the cruise with the desire of having a good time. I spent countless hours getting the Mercury. I had done my car history search on the Mercury by going over to VIN checker for a check at the accuracy of the car. Because of the detailed data there I found that my Mercury was worth a lot of money!

My car won best of class! | was in total shock that my little old Mercury had done so well the first time out. Next year I'll start preparing earlier.

1966 Was a Good Year For BMW : Or Enjoying History in My Classic Car

Friday, August 8th, 2008

The classic car of your dreams is out there Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of good priced BMWs out there. Buy a BMW now before the price goes up! You won't be sorry.

We're already looking forward to next year.
Patricia and I have had our 1966 BMW now for I think six years. Overall we've been very happy with the car. We live in western Missouri, near New Florence, and we love driving the car during the spring months. Overall I'd say it's a great car for the money.

Almost from the minute we received the BMW we've been on the road. My whole family made a weekend out of visiting my husband's brother in California several times without any issues. The BMW does fair on gas and has not given us alot issues in terms of service.

The BMW is in pristine condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past twenty-one years. Our previous car, a Kia, had plenty of breakdowns and we weren't unhappy to see it go.

It was stressed to me to get insurance on the vehicle. For our antique car insurance online quotes we went with a company called Hagerty. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on classic cars. It's a great web site for finding the best price on antique car insurance. We insured the BMW for 30% of what Progressive wanted.

We've very happy with our BMW. While 1966 was not freshest in my memory, our car helps us redo those feelings.

Cheryl and I have counted on our 1969 Oldsmobile now for I think 11 years. Truth be told we've been happy with the car. Our cottage is in eastern Arizona, near Coolidge, Arizona, and we love driving the car during the fall months. My opinion is I'd say it's a stunning car for the money.

During the time we've owned the Oldsmobile we've been behind the wheel. We took it out for a spin to see our sister in New Hampshire many times over the year. The Oldsmobile does Ok on gas and has not given us a lot problems in terms of service.

The Oldsmobile is in driving condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past several years. Our previous car, a Zastava, had plenty of problems and we weren't depressed to unload it.
