1972 Was a Good Year For Audi : Or Reliving Your Youth My Custom Car

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

Now is the time to find a car you enjoy! Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of excellent Audis out there. Buy a Audi now before the price goes up! You won't regret it.

Time has flown this car-driving season.
Amelia and I have lived with our 1972 Audi now for probably three years. The general feeling is we've been happy with the car. The condo is in southern Iowa, near Cumberland, and we enjoy touring in the car during the spring months. Overall I'd say it's an excellent toy for the money.

During the time we've owned the Audi we've been enjoying it heartily. We took it out for a spin to see my wife's uncle in Georgia many times without any issues. The Audi does well on gas and has not given us a lot problems in terms of repair.

The Audi is in fine condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past twenty years. Our previous car, a Subaru, had plenty of headaches and we weren't sad to see it go.

It was stressed to me to get classic car insurance on the vehicle. For our antique collector car insurance we went with a company called Hagerty Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on antique cars. It's an awesome resource for finding the best deal on insurance for collector cars. We insured the Audi for a sliver of what Geico wanted.

It was a good investment purchasing our Audi. While 1972 was a completely different age for cars, our car helps us recapture those days.

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

The classic car of your dreams is out there Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of cheap Dodges out there. Buy a Dodge now before the price goes up! You won't regret it.

We've had fun this year.
Philip and I have owned our 1973 Dodge now for nearly five years. Truth be told we've been happy with the car. We live in western Kansas, near Sedan, and we love driving in the car during the warmer months. Overall I'd say it's a brilliant car for the money.

From the day we picked up the Dodge we've been all over the country. We took it out for a spin to see our uncle in California several times with no problems whatsoever. The Dodge does fair on gas and has not given us many issues in terms of maintenance.

The Dodge is in great shape, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken it upon themselves to fix it up over the past several years. Our previous car, a Saab, had plenty of heartaches and we weren't sad to unload it.

We made sure we went to get classic car insurance on the vehicle. For our classic car insurance quotations we went with a company called Classic Collectors Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on antique cars. It's an awesome resource for finding the best deal on custom car insurance. We insured the Dodge for a quarter of what Geico wanted.

We've very happy with our Dodge. While 1973 was not freshest in my memory, our car helps us redo those bygone days.
